Navigating Care
with Compassion
& Expertise

"Compassion is the secret glue in healthcare."

"Advocacy is just love with a plan."

I founded Personal Angel Partnerships because I believe every family deserves someone who speaks healthcare fluently — and stands with them when the system feels impossible to navigate. I bring 15+ years of lived experience, a Marine's discipline, and a caregiver's heart to every client I serve.

🎖️
Marine Corps Veteran
Service isn't what I did — it's who I am. The discipline and commitment of military service shapes every client interaction I bring to you.
🏥
15+ Years in Healthcare
From bedside caregiving to home health, assisted living, and dietary services — I've worked across every level of care so you don't have to figure it out alone.
🏠

🌱
Building Something Bigger
Beyond consulting — I'm building toward a nonprofit that provides housing and meals for community members in need. This work is personal.

✦   "Compassion is the secret glue in healthcare."   ✦   Private healthcare consultation for families and organizations — bringing clarity, confidence, and heartfelt guidance to every step of the care journey.

How I Work

Three pillars.
One unwavering commitment.

🧭
Clarity

I translate the jargon, decode the paperwork, and make sure you always know exactly where you stand and what every option means — in plain language, with patience.

🛡️
Advocacy

You shouldn't have to fight alone for the care you or your loved one deserves. I stand in the gap, ask the hard questions, and ensure dignity is never compromised.

🤍
Compassion

Logistics are secondary to humanity. Every plan, every call, every consultation I conduct begins with genuine care for the person — not just the problem in front of us.

About Me

I'm Christy —
your Personal Angel.

I'm a Marine Corps veteran with over 15 years of direct healthcare experience spanning caregiving, home health, assisted living, and dietary services. I founded Personal Angel Partnerships because I've been on both sides — as a healthcare professional and as a family member who desperately needed someone to help navigate the system.

I'm currently pursuing my Master of Health Administration with a Clinical Care Management concentration at Strayer University, and I'm working toward my LNHA licensure. This work isn't a job for me — it's a calling.

✦ For Rehabilitation Centers, Home Health Agencies & Hospitals

Organizational & Facility Consulting

I bring strategic consulting support to healthcare facilities navigating compliance, staffing, operations, and care quality — as a true partner, not just an outside observer.

✦ Operations

Operational Review & Process Improvement

An outside expert eye sees what internal teams miss. I provide thorough operational reviews designed to strengthen your systems, reduce risk, and improve patient outcomes before problems become crises.

  • Policy and procedure gap analysis
  • Workflow and staffing pattern review
  • Interdepartmental communication assessment
  • Survey preparedness consultation
  • Written recommendations and action plans
Who I Serve
Skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, and hospital departments seeking external consultation on operations and compliance readiness.
What You Receive
A written gap analysis report with prioritized recommendations, realistic timelines, and implementation guidance tailored to your facility's size and scope.
✦ Staffing

Staff Orientation & Onboarding Support

Strong onboarding sets the tone for retention, culture, and quality of care. I help facilities build and refine onboarding programs that actually work — for the employee and for the patient they'll serve.

  • New hire orientation framework development
  • 30/60/90 day onboarding tracker systems
  • Role-specific competency documentation
  • Department-level training structure review
  • Staff communication tools and templates
Why It Matters
Facilities with structured onboarding see measurably higher retention rates and fewer early-tenure compliance incidents. Good onboarding protects your patients and your staff.
Flexible Engagement
Available as a one-time project or ongoing retainer. Scope and pricing are discussed during a no-pressure discovery call.
✦ Care Quality

Patient Advocacy & Family Communication Consulting

Facilities that prioritize family communication and patient dignity see better outcomes, fewer complaints, and stronger community reputations. I consult on building the systems that make this possible — because I've seen both sides of the care conference table.

  • Family communication protocol development
  • Care conference structure and best practices
  • Grievance process review and improvement
  • Patient experience feedback systems
  • Staff training on advocacy-centered care
The PAP Difference
I've sat on both sides of the care conference table — as a professional and as a family advocate. That lived experience shapes practical, compassionate consulting that works in real settings.
Serving Richland County & Beyond

✦ For Individuals & Families Navigating the Healthcare System

Private Family Healthcare Consultation

You shouldn't have to figure this out alone. I am the expert in your corner — translating, advocating, and planning alongside you every step of the way.

✦ Navigation

Care Navigation & Crisis Support

When a loved one's health changes suddenly, the decisions come fast and the system feels impossibly complex. I step in as your calm, knowledgeable guide — so you can focus on your family while I focus on the details.

  • Emergency placement and transition support
  • Hospital discharge planning assistance
  • Skilled nursing and rehab facility selection guidance
  • Insurance and benefits navigation (Medicare, Medicaid)
  • Care plan review and plain-language explanation
  • Family communication and coordination support
You Don't Have to Know the System
Most families navigating a health crisis have never done this before. I have. I translate the language, ask the right questions, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Available by Phone, Video & In-Person
Crisis support doesn't always happen during business hours. I offer flexible scheduling and responsive communication when you need it most.
✦ Advocacy

Care Conference Representation & Advocacy

Care conferences can be overwhelming — a room full of clinical staff using terminology most families have never heard. I attend alongside you, or on your behalf, to ensure your voice is heard and your loved one's needs are fully represented.

  • Pre-conference preparation and question development
  • Attendance and active participation at care conferences
  • Real-time documentation and note-taking
  • Post-conference debrief and action item tracking
  • Follow-up communication with facility staff
Your Rights as a Family
You have the right to attend, participate in, and question every care decision. I help you exercise those rights with confidence and clarity.
In-Person & Virtual
I attend in-person for facilities in Richland County and surrounding areas, or join virtually for facilities across Ohio.
✦ Daily Support Services

Companion Care, Housekeeping & Errand Support

Sometimes the need isn't clinical — it's daily. I connect families with trusted, vetted support for companion care, light housekeeping, and errand assistance so your loved one can remain comfortable, safe, and engaged at home while you focus on the rest of your life.

  • Companion care and social engagement visits
  • Light housekeeping and home tidiness support
  • Errand assistance — grocery, pharmacy, appointments
  • Medication pickup and prescription management support
  • Transportation coordination for medical appointments
  • Caregiver coordination and oversight
Full-Circle Support
I don't just tell families what to do — I help make it happen. Companion and daily support services are the natural next step after a care consultation.
For the Sandwich Generation
Working adults managing a parent's care from a distance need a trusted local presence. I am that presence — familiar, accountable, and genuinely caring.

Not sure which service you need?
